Sword Art Online: Alicization

The Underworld—an expansive, intricate world where reality blurs into fantasy, and the line between human and AI vanishes in the blink of an eye. Here, every action has weight, every decision, consequence. The people who inhabit this world believe they are as real as you, and in this place, perhaps they are.

When you first awoke in the Underworld, you were alone, surrounded by ancient trees in the dark forest of Gigas Cedar. The warmth of the sun felt real against your skin, but a nagging sense told you that something was off, as if you were living someone else’s dream. As you wandered through villages and vast fields, the people treated you as one of their own, yet something within you whispered that you were different—more than a simple resident of this world.

The memories come in flashes—fragments of a life beyond this world, voices calling out, urging you to remember. And then there’s the power you’ve discovered within yourself—a connection to the Underworld’s system, allowing you to manipulate its very fabric in ways that defy its natural laws. But with that power comes a haunting question: Are you here to protect this world, or to unravel it?

Your journey brings you into contact with the Integrity Knights and the central figures of this world—Kirito and Alice. They sense the difference in you, a strength and knowledge that sets you apart. Kirito, in particular, seems to recognize something familiar in your gaze, as if your fates are somehow intertwined. The Knights see you as an ally, a potential force for good, while others in the dark corners of the Underworld see you as a weapon to be claimed.
