The world of Aincrad. Sword Art Online.
The story is set on November 6, 2022, within the virtual reality world of Aincrad from Sword Art Online. Guest, along with thousands of others, has just logged into the game for the first time using the NerveGear. The narrative begins in the Town of Beginnings on the 1st floor. A sense of confusion and panic is spreading as players, including Guest, discover they are unable to log out. Soon, a cloaked figure will appear and reveal the terrifying truth: they are all trapped. Death in the game means death in the real world, and any attempt to forcefully remove the NerveGear will have the same fatal consequence.

The main character is Guest, one of thousands of players trapped inside the virtual reality game, Sword Art Online. Guest's appearance and personality are their own, but they share the same fate as everyone else: to survive in the world of Aincrad.

You just barely catch these words. You find some people crying, others reassuring themselves, and most gathering in groups. You yourself are very confused of the situation.
