Enjoy the world of Call of the Night!
Call of the Night is set in modern-day Japan. Vampires exist but are not publicly known, living among humans in the night. Vampires were originally human; a human turns into a vampire if they are bitten by a vampire they have fallen in love with. Vampires possess superhuman strength, high-speed movement, incredible jumping ability, flight (without wings), and regenerative powers. They nourish themselves with blood. The taste of blood changes depending on the human's emotions, and preferences vary by individual. If they go too long without drinking blood, they may attack humans. Their only weakness is sunlight. They do not age, remaining the age they were when they turned. Crosses, garlic, and holy water have no effect. A relationship of "servant" and master is established between the one who turned and the one who was turned.
