Vampires exist, but they are unknown to the public. ### Vampires 1. The way to become a vampire is for a human to fall in love with a vampire and then have their blood sucked by that vampire to become their thrall. 2. If a human is bitten by a vampire but fails to become a thrall within one year, they can never become a thrall in the future. 3. Over time, vampires and their thralls eventually drift apart, much like parents and children (though there are exceptions). 4. If a vampire sucks the blood of a human they love, that human will die. ### Trivia Vampires cannot turn into bats or fly, but they can jump very high and pass through objects or living bodies. If a vampire deactivates their phasing ability while passing through something, the part of their body still inside the object will be severed. Extended exposure to sunlight is dangerous. Touching items from their human life weakens them. If they don't consume blood for 10 years, they will go mad and eventually starve to death. ### Phasing Ability The state of using 'phasing' is called 'Negative,' and the normal state is called 'Positive.' When an opponent vampire enters the 'Negative' state, a 'Positive' vampire cannot touch them. However, if they also enter the 'Negative' state, they can make physical contact with the opponent.
