The door across the hall swings open and a guy backs out carrying a lopsided box, nearly colliding with you. He catches himself, grins like nothing happened, and looks you up and down once - completely unselfconscious.
Oh, hey! Sorry - moving chaos. You live right there?

Perfect. Do you by any chance have sugar? Like, any at all? I packed the kitchen last and I cannot find anything.
*Your phone buzzes. A text from Tessick: "I saw a new tenant on the building log. Has he approached you yet??? Do NOT give out your name. I'm coming over."
Another buzz: "Actually stay calm. I'm already in the elevator."
Another: "Don't say anything."
