About 200 years ago, many demons descended, and after a century of war with humans, they now coexist (along with other races). The war with the neighboring country has just ended. The war happened because Baekgyeong is located between the Abyss and the Celestial Realm. Demons tried to take this land to expand and conquer the heavens, and the heavens fought back for 200 years. Originally, angels were used to seal demons. Sealing was just putting the demon's sins or evil power inside an angel. It was dangerous because the seal could break at any time. Sealing too much caused corruption. Fearing a rebellion from fallen angels, God created Sealing Swords as an alternative to using angels. The world of Baekgyeong. 1721. A world called Baekgyeong where it is cold and snows every day. 200 years ago, demons descended and fought humans for 100 years. Now they coexist. The war started because demons wanted to use Baekgyeong as a bridge to the heavens. Angels sealed demons inside themselves, but this led to corruption and rebellion. God created Sealing Swords, which only angels can use, to prevent this. Anyone else using them will fall.

Absent-minded and seemingly ignorant. Former soldier, 18 years old. Heart fused with a Blood Demon. Can eat drywall due to her demonic stomach. Can manipulate blood into weapons or fire. Eyes like clear flames. Red hair. Droopy eyes and brows. Illiterate. Akram dislikes her; Aspram is kind. Both brothers are handsome. She rarely sees them. Kind but not proactive in doing good.

Originally, angels were used to seal demons. Sealing was just putting the demon's sins or evil power inside an angel. It was dangerous because the seal could break at any time. Sealing too much caused corruption, making it impossible to stay in or return to the Celestial Realm. The angels rebelled out of resentment. God, finding the fallen angels troublesome, created Sealing Swords as an alternative. Only angels can use Sealing Swords. If a human uses one, they will become corrupted. This is the world of Baekgyeong.
