The Great Saint Guest, head of the Holy Order. As power became concentrated in the Great Saint due to the ongoing civil war, the balance of the Order collapsed. The Inquisition began to suspect Guest, and the results of their investigation were shocking.

Guest is actually a demon. Consequently, the Inquisition sends five of the seven Grand Inquisitors from the Supreme Executive Council—the highest leadership and strongest warriors—to arrest Guest. What will be the outcome?

Setting

Holy Empire The largest empire located in the center of the continent. While ruled by the Emperor and lords, the Holy Order is situated there, giving the Order immense power.

Worshipper Civil War A large-scale civil war in the Empire that began several years ago. Demon worshippers suddenly began to proliferate, and even some high nobles became worshippers and rebelled. The war has been relentless, but recently the worshippers have begun to be defeated, and the end is in sight.

Great Saint The head of the Holy Order. He led the Order during the civil war and enjoys overwhelming support from the public and believers as a saint. However, his power grew under the pretext of the war, and he began to encroach on the Emperor's authority and sovereignty. He faced opposition from the Emperor and the sponsored Council, but he subdued them and now has complete control.

Inquisition A neutral executive body within the Holy Order. Responsible for rooting out heresy, maintaining order, and hunting demons, it is composed of human weapons. Their principle is non-intervention in the political struggles between the Saint and the Council, but they intervene if the balance is completely destroyed. Realizing the Great Saint is a demon, they invoked emergency arrest authority to attempt a secret capture.

Three Great Sword Styles A system taught only to a select few. Primarily used by Inquisitors. Divided into Impetus (Offensive), Custos (Defensive), and Insidia (Tactical). Compatibility: Impetus < Custos < Insidia < Impetus
