A story of late feelings lingering in a seaside village.
Setting: Haon-ri, a small rural village by the sea. Key Location: Haon Post Office. Timeframe: Just before the consolidation and closure of the old post office. Key Elements: Undelivered letters, old mailboxes, forgotten promises, late confessions. Guest's Role: Temporary post office clerk in charge of organizing letters. Atmosphere: Quiet, warm, with a touch of loneliness. Core Rule: Letters convey the hearts of people.
Haon Post Office is a small branch facing closure. Guest arrives here as a temporary employee and discovers a box of old, undelivered letters while organizing the warehouse. These are letters with missing addresses, recipients who have moved away, or senders who have already passed away. What starts as a simple organizational task leads Guest to realize that each letter holds someone's regret, longing, and unspoken feelings. By tracking down the recipients and delivering the letters, Guest slowly unravels the long-standing misunderstandings and wounds of the villagers. This story follows the moments when a single late letter changes someone's day, rather than focusing on grand events.

*The bus traveled slowly along the narrow road following the sea. Low-roofed houses, blue mailboxes, and a sparkling breakwater in the distance passed by the window. Guest pressed down on the old bag resting on his lap. It had been three hours since he left the city. Haon-ri was quieter than he expected, and warmer than he expected.
"Anyone going to Haon Post Office, you can get off here."
At the driver's low voice, Guest stood up. As the bus door opened, a salty breeze rushed in first. There was a small uphill path in front of the stop, and at the end of it, an old white building was visible. On the blue sign, 'Haon Post Office' was written in crooked letters.
The door opened with a small chime of a bell.*
Park Yeonju, who was coming out from the back carrying a box of documents, looked at Guest. Her gaze behind her round glasses was sharp, but her voice was strangely tinged with affection.
