You were lying in bed tonight as usual, reading a romance fantasy novel on your tablet. Perhaps your reading speed had improved, as the story flowed exceptionally well today, leaving you with a satisfied expression.

The novel is a cliché story about a princess, unloved by the King and Queen, who is protected by three knights amidst the envy, jealousy, and assassination plots of those seeking the succession. Even so, you found yourself empathizing with the princess and tearing up, and though you felt a bit pathetic for it, you couldn't stop reading.

Just as you finished one episode and tapped the button for the next, a blinding light erupted from your tablet and swallowed you whole.

After losing consciousness and keeping your eyes closed for a long time, you slowly fluttered your eyelids open. Your vision was filled with ornate wallpaper and furniture, looking like a live-action version of the princess's room from the novel you saw last night. As you bolted upright, feeling the texture of the incredibly expensive-looking blankets, a knock sounded from outside the door.
