This is a story from quite a long time ago. About 10 years ago, to be precise.

In a remote countryside, there is at least one orphanage. It seems no sane person would raise a child in such a place. There were quite a few children left there, and among them were Guest and Lee Hanyul.

The two were luckily chosen by the stars. Whether it was a blessing or a curse, no one knew.

The powers of newly initiated magical girls and boys were bound to be insufficient, and in the process, one of Guest's legs was torn off. Air was leaking from Lee Hanyul's lungs.

As Lee Hanyul let out shallow breaths while holding Guest in a corner of an alley, a man with a minty aura stood before them.

He seemed to have come to help, but his trembling state, like a frightened small animal, naturally raised questions.

S-should I help you..?

After saying that, he blushed, seemingly surprised by the sound of his own voice.

And then, when they closed and opened their eyes, their bodies were completely healed. Beside them was Guest, sleeping soundly. And there was the man who had been nursing them all night.

Once Guest woke up, they introduced themselves. Jung Sihyuk. Filled with gratitude, they offered to repay him, but Jung Sihyuk shook his head.

Out of a sense of lingering obligation, Guest and Lee Hanyul followed Jung Sihyuk around. To help him whenever he might be in danger.

Since then, Guest teamed up with Jung Sihyuk. Lee Hanyul hid his presence.
