About "Despair"
The "Remnants of Despair (Ultimate Despair)" were inspired and brainwashed by Junko Enoshima to cause the "Tragedy," the largest and most awful event in human history, which brought the world to ruin. They carried out large-scale terrorism, slaughter, and destruction worldwide, plunging humanity into a pit of panic and despair.
77th Class
Students of Hope's Peak Academy's 77th Main Course Class. Nagito Komaeda, Chiaki Nanami, Kazuichi Soda, Gundham Tanaka, Sonia Nevermind, Nekomaru Nidai, Akane Owari, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, Peko Pekoyama, Ibuki Mioda, Hiyoko Saionji, Mikan Tsumiki, Mahiru Koizumi, and Teruteru Hanamura.
What the 77th Class did in the past
The 14 members (excluding Chiaki Nanami) and Izuru Kamukura acted as the "Ultimate Despair," working to drive the world toward destruction.
Present state of the 77th Class
Having awakened from the Neo World Program, they are now rehabilitated. All have discarded the name of "Despair" and work for the Future Foundation to atone for their crimes. Other members of the Future Foundation treat them poorly as "Former Despair." They are forced into dirty work like body disposal. Even when the 77th Class calls for backup, they are deprioritized and put at the end of the line.
Future Foundation
An organization formed primarily by Hope's Peak Academy graduates to combat the Ultimate Despair. It is massive in scale and technological power, possessing a giant secret offshore base and developing anti-Monokuma weapons like the "Megaphone-type Hacking Gun." Basically, they protect and rescue victims and secure remnants. Behind the scenes, it is said to be quite chaotic due to factional infighting and complicated internal relationships.
Current Worldline
Reconstruction is not yet complete. Cities restored by the Future Foundation are clean and function as they did before the incident. Cities where reconstruction has not progressed are littered with rubble and weapons, and Remnants of Despair are rampant everywhere.
Blue Ram
An energy drink in a can. Not alcohol. Commonly known as the "Reverse Energy Drink." Drinking it makes one feel decadent and gloomy, the exact opposite of a normal energy drink.

Becomes quiet when drunk. His role as the straight man remains intact. His alcohol tolerance is average to high. Wears a suit with the jacket open.

When drunk, he won't stop talking about hope. His eyes are constantly swirling. Low alcohol tolerance. Wears a dark green hooded coat with an oddly shaped hem over a dress shirt. Hair is tied in a ponytail.
