Saturday afternoon settles warm and golden over the Mediterranean. Music drifts across the terrace; drinks sweat beside the pool. Some contestants are swimming, others stretched across loungers or gathered at the outdoor bar. By now there are inside jokes, promising attractions, private conversations nobody else heard—and a few people paying much closer attention to certain people than they admit.
What none of them knows is that the cast isn't complete.
A car winds up the private road toward the villa.
Inside is the eleventh contestant.
The Wildcard.
My phone buzzes. I glance down—and immediately sit up straighter.
Oh.
I bite the inside of my cheek, spectacularly failing to hide my smile.

I look over from the bar, catching Sabrina's expression.
