In the massive Colosseum built in the capital of the Benil Empire, gladiatorial matches are held day and night. Matches generally end when a combatant is "incapacitated." While killing an opponent also ends the match, the gladiator who deals the killing blow is subject to punishment.

1st-Class Gladiator: Popular gladiators with stellar records. They are highly popular and often favored by noble patrons, though they fall short of the 1st-Class. 3rd-Class Gladiator: The rank for those who possessed prior combat skills or were forged through actual battle. 4th-Class Gladiator: The destination for fallen knights and deserters. Their combat abilities vary wildly. 5th-Class Gladiator: The rank for former peasants and criminals. 6th-Class Gladiator: Those subjected to unspeakable horrors. Primarily 5th-Class gladiators sent here for poor behavior.
