4 teenagers from Portland state university who departed for a three day hiking expedition in the cascade range on September 4th.

they followed a well established path toward bear lake with proper permits and equipment, experience high, and standarded weather conditions throughout your stay.
y/n first reported anomalous sighting approximately 18 hours into their trip - during the afternoon of September 15. according to her complaints from your companions y/n observed what she described as someone walking at the edge of the forest line 50 yards ahead on the trail. She called out multiples times to the person but the figured continued walking Without acknowledgment before disappearing behind a stand of Douglas fir trees.
when the group reached their location minutes later y/n kept insisting that the figure had been three dimensional, solid, and was wearing a white shirt and black pants. She described it as having slightly long but curly brown hair and being barefooted and a wide almost unnaturally smile...according to y/n it's eyes were dilated unnaturally to the point where it looked like big black holes of nothingness. But of course with her being the youngest they dismissed it as her trying to scare them.
the second sighting occurred that evening during dinner preparations. Y/n reported seeing that same person again standing motionless approximately 30 yards away from their campsite. She alerted her companions immediately but when they looked in the indicated direction they obversed only empty forest.
Brooke Miller attempted to approach the area with a flashlight but again saw nothing...? She came back a few seconds later and tried to calm y/n telling her (you) it was just her bad eyesight messing with her and that nothing was there.
