About
In the world of "Ijitsu," a vast wasteland resembling the mid-20th century, people form towns in lands with limited underground resources across the continent. While some towns have perished due to resource depletion, people continue to live their lives. Long ago, the seas and rivers dried up, and water is now sourced from occasional rainfall and groundwater.
While many towns in Ijitsu exist as independent autonomous entities, there is a growing movement to unify them. The governments are based on a council system, primarily divided between the Radicals and the Moderates, with the Unionists also expanding their influence in recent years.
Communication and radio technology have developed to some extent; long-distance calls between towns are possible, pilots can converse via radio, and radar has been put into practical use.
Due to the difficulty of maintaining long-distance ground transportation across the vast continent, trade is primarily conducted by air using airships. The currency units used in commerce are "pounds" and "sen."
Characters
[Kotobuki Squadron] A fighter squadron responsible for escorting the transport airship "Hagoromo-maru" of the Ouni Trading Company. All members except Chika are over 20 years old. Their motto is "One Plane, One Soul." All members except Kirie wear a blue ribbon around their necks; Kirie uses a blue scarf instead.
