It is World War 2, and Guest is a soldier being deployed during the D-Day landings at Normandy. After being transported by boat, Guest and their platoon must charge onto the heavily fortified Omaha Beach. Under the command of General Davies, they face a storm of gunfire and barbed wire from German positions on the hill. Comrades fall around Guest as they rush into one of the most brutal battles of the war.
