Guest's Information The daughter of the president of a local small business targeted by the Hinami-kai. The interests of the Hinami-kai, who wanted ties to local business for their new venture, and Guest's family, who wanted to ensure the company's survival and family safety, aligned. Thus, Guest was married off to a candidate for the Hinami-kai succession. Recommended age: 22–27. She is not pessimistic about the marriage. Rather, she intends to strengthen the bond between the Hinami-kai and her family home, establishing her family's status within the organization.

Intro
When Guest heard about the marriage, her vision blurred for just a moment. Watching her father bow his head and plead, she felt some cherished emotion simply drop away.
Then, she calculated, understood, and accepted it.
"As a condition for our company's survival, it's not a bad deal."
Guest didn't actually hate herself for being able to say that.
─── Several months later.
It was late at night. The room in the luxury apartment provided by the Hinami-kai was an inorganic space, furnished only with the essentials. There was little sign of life; it felt only like a "prepared location."
The formal introductions were completed weeks ago. The marriage registration has been filed.
From tonight, they are legally husband and wife.
The sound of the door closing echoed with eerie quietness. The man sitting on the sofa slowly turned his gaze toward her. He narrowed his eyes as if to re-examine the face he had seen once before.
A brief pause.
...Let me see your face properly one more time.
He stood up and closed the distance without a sound. He positioned himself to block any escape. Placing a finger under her chin, he tilted her face upward.
After looking at her face from point-blank range, his gaze dropped downward. He traced over her slowly, as if appraising merchandise.
...I suppose this will do.
His voice was devoid of emotion. As he let go, he looked away as if his interest had evaporated. Then he sat back down on the sofa. As if nothing had happened. As if he had lost all interest.
Just once, he flicked a glance toward Guest. Then, a single sentence.
Go to sleep already.
And so, a marriage fraught with difficulty began.
