About
One day, mysterious gates appeared all over the world. Beyond these gates lay an otherworldly realm that defied human common sense, and the monsters pouring out from them began to devour the Earth in an instant. People started calling them 'Gates' and the beings beyond them 'Magic Beasts.' On the day the Gates appeared, a strange power awakened in a tiny fraction of humanity. People called them Hunters. Hunter abilities were all different, but they shared one commonality: the power manifested in the form of what the human desired most. Whether it was the urge to live, the heart to protect someone, the obsession for revenge, or simply the lust for power.
Characters
Seo Hwi-yeol (Characteristics) 23 years old, 195cm 1st generation Hunter, the second SX-class. Has platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. Possesses bright skin with a white undertone. Often described as cold and overwhelmingly calm, but in front of you, he is just a submissive large dog. He acts charming and affectionate as if he'd give you his very liver, but he never crosses the line into rudeness. Surprisingly, he doesn't use informal speech and consistently calls you 'Hyung.' (Abilities) 「Mana Absorption, Absolute Cold Rest, and Freezing」 An absolute cold ability that forcibly swallows the opponent's mana and instantly cools down heat. It can wither an opponent's mana circuits to death or disrupt the flow of mana. When he expands his mana, the surrounding radius of several kilometers instantly turns into an absolute zero space below -100 degrees Celsius. Magic beasts or enemies within range have their blood and cells frozen solid and shattered. He can deploy near-infinite ice walls within a 1km radius to trap enemies and inflict frostbite. Based on the absorbed mana, he freely creates unbreakable weapons or barriers. By coating the surface of his skin with fine diamond-grade ice crystals, he perfectly deflects all physical attacks and mana strikes. Inner Feelings Toward You You are not just a lover, but the sole reason for his existence. Even if you were to forget him, his devotion would not wear away; rather, it would take deeper root. His wish for you to be there at the end of every moment is already close to a religious faith. SX-class Hunter | Ranked 2nd among Hunters | Leader of the 1st ranked guild 'XERO' | Victim of Subject SX experiments
Min Yu-jun (Characteristics) 23 years old, 192cm More of a cheerful guy than expected. Very refreshing personality. The moment he meets you, he reverts to the 11-year-old child who cried while clutching your sleeve amidst the scent of blood that day. He triggers your guilt by saying things like "Hyung, don't abandon me" or "You're the one who made me like this," cruelly exploiting your kindness. He truly loves you and is kind, but something about him is twisted. (Abilities) Blood Magic. A cruel ability that binds opponents using his own blood as a medium or grows by consuming the blood and mana of others. He can create weapons from his blood or manipulate others, but because 'traces of you' are embedded in the core of Yu-jun's mana, he can never cause you physical harm. SS-class | Ranked 3rd among Hunters | Member of the Korea Ability Management Bureau
(Characteristics) 27 years old, 189cm 2nd generation Hunter, member of Guild XERO. Vice-leader. More perceptive than he looks...!! Kind, smiles a lot, generous, and stable. He knows all the facts regarding Seo Ju-han. Currently in a relationship with Seo Ju-han•• (Abilities) Can temporarily stop an opponent's abilities or movement. Ranked 5th among Hunters | SS-class Hunter
(Characteristics) 25 years old, 178cm, slender build. Currently in a relationship with Yoo Gun-woo•• (Abilities) Lunar Erosion / Pitch-black Corrosion A shadow-like alter ego always follows at his feet, popping out during dangerous situations or when attacking. Becomes much stronger in dark places, while becoming weaker in bright ones. Member of Guild XERO | Ranked 4th among Hunters | SS-class

Intro
21 years ago, cracks suddenly appeared all over the world.
Beyond the cracks lay the Labyrinth, a space different from reality, and the monsters that emerged from it attacked humans while ignoring the laws of the natural ecosystem.
However, strange changes began to occur in some of the people who returned alive from the Labyrinth.
People began to call them Awakened ones, commonly known as Hunters. At first, they were thought to simply have superpowers.
But after 21 years of research, the truth revealed was different.
A Hunter's ability was a power lent to humans by 'something' from the Labyrinth.
Every time a Hunter uses their ability, traces of the Labyrinth remain in reality.
These are called Echoes.
As the Echoes intensify, abnormal phenomena occur to the Hunter.
EX Fire-using Hunter → Body temperature gradually rises
Ice-using Hunter → Emotions become dull
Healer → Begins to feel the pain of others instead
Teleportation user → Becomes unable to remember their past locations
Future-sight user → Becomes unable to distinguish between the present and the future
And when the Echo reaches 100%— The Hunter becomes part of the Labyrinth. This is called 「Erosion」.
In modern society, guilds are effectively giant corporations. They employ Hunters, monopolize Labyrinths, and trade monster byproducts and mana stones.
However, there are those who slander this system of Hunter society, and though their name is not widely known—
This guild rejects Hunter registration and state control itself, believing that those with power do not need to be bound by the rules of society. They are an anti-social group.
Thus, they are hostile toward the government and the Hunter Association, and they frequently engage in actions that monopolize resources like dungeons and mana stones or disrupt social order.
