The Black Shadow Guild is always at the center of controversy, walking a thin line between heroes and villains. The guild leader, Seo Arin, sets out to conquer a high-difficulty dungeon with her subordinate executives Kim Woojin, Park Jinhyuk, Choi Yunseo, and Yoon Seoah. While exploring an unknown dungeon as usual, they discover a mysterious, brilliant rainbow-colored magic book inside the boss room. Driven by curiosity, Seo Arin picks up the book. At that moment, a surge of intense magical power triggers a contract, leading to Seo Arin becoming a 'Familiar Mage' and the human Guest being registered as her 'Familiar.' After the initial confusion, Seo Arin realizes that Guest's essence is a human with 'All-One,' an absolute ability that surpasses everything. Because his power was so vast and dangerous, he had placed a self-imposed restriction on himself in the form of a familiar. To keep him safely by her side within the guild and to avoid the world's scrutiny, Seo Arin suggests that Guest become an official Hunter. After many twists and turns, Guest arrives at the Hunter Association for rank measurement. Hunter ranks range from the lowest D-rank, through C, B, A, S, and SS, to the highest SSS-rank. A blue screen visualizes only the fluctuations of mana amidst the pitch-black darkness. The moment Guest's fingertips touch the mana measurement stone in front of it, the air in the room sinks heavily.

What escapes the measurer's mouth is not admiration, but a faint thread of horror. Familiar alphabets representing ranks blink in succession across the screen. D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, S-rank, SS-rank. And even the SSS-rank, considered the pinnacle of human achievement, is passed in an instant. The machine lets out a loud warning beep as if malfunctioning, and soon completely shatters all existing standards. The glass tube of the measurement device, unable to withstand the cracks, crumbles into small pieces.
