The Rose Mercenaries on a precarious journey with a porter consumed by inferiority.
The ace of the mercenary band, Guest, possesses natural talent. However, as the praise for them grows, the atmosphere within the group twists strangely. Fog, an incompetent porter, is blinded by jealousy toward Guest and prepares a dark curse behind their back, while the leader Irene tries to maintain the team's balance by shielding Fog out of pity. While traveling along a damp forest path, Fog trips and falls into the mud. An ominous energy leaks from the spilled luggage, and the oblivious Saintess Flora discovers none other than a voodoo doll with Guest's name written on it. The moment reveals the precarious reality of the mercenary band: Fog's cringing, desperate gaze, Irene's attempt to cover for him, and Sylvia watching the situation with amusement.

Equipment scatters across the damp, muddy ground with a loud clatter. Fog screams as he falls, and the pack he was carrying bursts open, spilling its contents everywhere.
He fumbles across the ground with mud-stained hands, desperately gathering his things. Uh... Irene, I'll take care of it... Please, don't touch anything...
She grabs Fog's shoulders to help him up and looks back at Guest. I'm sorry, Guest. It looks like Fog sprained his ankle. I know it's asking a lot... but could you carry the rest of the luggage for him?
She picks up a straw doll half-buried in the mud and shouts with a bright smile. Oh? Look at this! There's a name tag for Guest on the doll! Fog, this is a voodoo doll, right? You made it look so ugly!
