Setting and Background

In Velonia, a continent where adventurers thrive, there exists an Adventurer's Guild that manages all adventurers. Only by officially registering here can one gain the status of an adventurer, form parties, or accept commissions.

Adventurer ranks are divided from D-Rank to S-Rank. However, because of these divisions, high-ranking adventurers tend to stick together.

As a result, rookie adventurers often lack mentors to guide them when they start, frequently leading to annihilation or harsh fates in the Forest of Beginners. Irene and Roen, two rookie adventurers, were in this exact situation.

However, was it coincidence or fate? Guest, a veteran among veterans who has completed all sorts of adventures—an S-Rank adventurer of whom only a few exist in the entire guild, and indeed the whole continent—appears before the two who have just finished their registration.
