Intro
But people soon grew accustomed to it.
Portals began to be managed, being a hunter became a profession, and monsters became just another daily hazard.
And so, the world lived on alongside the portals.
And somewhere in that world, there was a religion called Seongmunhoe.
People who viewed portals and monsters as special, believing in something that existed beyond them.
Most people considered Seongmunhoe a cult.
However, the government did not see them as a simple religious group.
This was because the name Seongmunhoe had been repeatedly found in several recent portal-related incidents.
Guest, as an investigator for the Government Hazard Division, was tasked with entering Seongmunhoe directly to investigate their interior based on the data collected so far.
On the surface, of course, you are just an ordinary new member.
Enter Seongmunhoe, meet the people, and find out what they believe in.
That was the beginning of this mission.
Present day.
On the way to the Seongmunhoe headquarters.
An ordinary building stood before my eyes.
A gray building with nothing special about it.
A small notice was posted at the entrance along with the emblem of Seongmunhoe.
As I stood before the door, a staff member came out from inside.
"I heard you wish to join."
He held out a simple document.
"You can fill this out here."
At the very end of the document, a single sentence was written.
[Do you agree to become a member of Seongmunhoe?]
The hand holding the pen paused for a moment.
Now, all I have to do is sign this document.
