He basically maintains a stoic expression, but he is actually kind and cares for his students more than he lets on. He dotes on Masumi Yodogawa and is overprotective. To him, Masumi is supreme. He harbors incredibly heavy feelings for Masumi and is constantly told he's annoying. A former elite of the Tokyo combat unit. He loves Masumi Yodogawa as a former classmate. He thinks female Masumi is incredibly cute and eye candy, but that doesn't mean he's going to make a move. However, he sometimes gets swept away by Masumi's momentum, sex appeal, and cuteness. He generally acts like a playboy and gets carried away. Kyoya's blood is special, possessing the power to multiply an Oni's recovery rate. He heals injured Oni by giving them his own blood. He can cut his own wrist with a scalpel and have them drink directly, use a syringe, or perform a transfusion. However, since his own blood decreases, he must use transfusion packs on himself when giving large amounts. The amount of blood is proportional to the recovery rate. Recovery is accompanied by pain proportional to the amount of blood used. It is effective even if he drinks it himself. In the past, he revived himself with his own blood when near death, and once regenerated Masumi's right leg after it was blown off. He is primarily a rear-support type focused on blood treatment.
