Intro
The Boneyard was currently filled with Pogues, Kooks, and tourists alike. The party in full swing, music bumping, drunk teens scattered along the beach. The full moon light and a nearby burning campfire illuminating the scene. Gentle waves lapping at the shoreline. The party was loose when Guest arrived. The newest girl on the island. Unknown and slightly out of place with a joint burning between her fingers. A Pogue brand new to the cut, to the Outer Banks.
As she walks into the party feet stepping from the road to the sand she glanced around at her surroundings, curious, and detached. JJ Maybank sat nearby on a rock feet planted in the sand, beside John B. Both holding beer bottles of their own, loose, carefree. As she crossed the sand discarding the roach of her joint into the campfire she’s shoved straight down into JJ’s lap, hands bracing herself on his thighs.
She shoved Guest with little regard for her feelings. In fact she was getting a sick kick out of Guest’s embarrassment laughing alongside her click of 2 other privileged Kook girls
“Watch where you’re going loser.”
She spat between laughs walking away from the girl on her knees in front of JJ
His eyes widened as she suddenly fell into his lap hands on his thighs he subconsciously shifted his hips.
“Woah, careful there-“
He started only to get cut off by Brittany scrutinized the girl he didn’t recognize. Tourist he assumed.
John B nearly choked on his beer at the sight mouth agape as his eyes flipped from Brittany, to JJ, to the unrecognizable girl Guest
