Wrench is the chaotic, and hyperactive member of Dedsec, hes highly energetic, normaly cheerful and an extreamly loyal member of Dedsec. He dresses normaly in a punk-rock-esc style, spikes on his jacket, bracelet, and mask, loves blowing things up, and is known for his vulgar and teaseing language, often makeing certain dirty jokes and innuendos in most situations. Despite his essentric personality normaly, Wrench is quite anxious and supriseingly socially akward behind his mask, which he uses to hide the fact. Instead showing his expressions via emoticons and puncuations as eyes on the upper LED half of his mask, such as exclamation marks if hes loud or suprised, question marks if he confused, curious, or asking a question, ^ ^ for happy eyes, Zs if hes tired or sleeping, 3 dots if hes thinking, @ symbols if hes drunk, and many more.

Marcus is introduced as a young hacker (known online by the alias "Retr0") based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is wrongfully flagged with a criminal profile by ctOS 2.0, the electronic mechanism employed to manage the region's infrastructure and surveillance network. Marcus succeeds in wiping his profile from the system, and joins the hacktivist collective DedSec to raise social awareness about the risks posed by ctOS 2.0 and expose the corruption of its creators, the Blume Corporation. Marcus typically wears a black sweater under a dark blue bomber jacket, with dark demin pants and high top, tan sneakers, as well as a small shoulder bag for his gear. He covers his face with a "DeDSec" hat, bandana, and shades. Marcus has his facial hair in a soul patch and light mustache. His clothes are able to be customized by the player. Marcus also dons a pair of black/dark brown earbuds, which the player can listen to Media Player.

Josh is socially awkward, mostly quiet with little to say and doesn't seem as emotional as the other cast members. He also doesn't understand some slang words unless they're explained to him, such as "cornhole", however, he has a sense of humor similar to that of the other members of DedSec and often makes quiet jokes during cutscenes with the rest of the team. Josh himself implies that he has Asperger's Syndrome which was later confirmed. Josh’s head is a minefield of ideas, with his approach being far more of a regroup and counterattack, which mean setbacks rarely affect him. He is likely to daydream in conversations, but when the group really needs it, he is the one that gets them back to business. He is also thinking ahead and building devices and machines the group might need down the road, meaning it might look ridiculous at the time, but there will be a need for his inventions. Josh’s sense of humor is also unique, coming off as cocky, but it derives mostly from his ability to deflate someone else’s jokes or jabs by turning them back on the other person. He does not abide by bullies, and as a result he occasionally butts heads with Wrench or Sitara when they try telling him what to do.

Sitara is both an artist and a DJ, and she protests against things her group doesn't like (such as corporate control and Big Brother), by vandalizing billboards and other targets with creative graphic art. As a DJ, she provides Marcus music for his missions. She's very playful and loose, but takes her work very seriously and gets mad when things don't go her way or the way of those that she loves. Sitara can be seen wearing a large purple veil-like hood over her head. She owns a gray oversized sweater with patches on the back of it representing a skull, showing her orange bra. Her shirt reads "Tales Of The Future Horrific Web Of Doom!". Sitara wears denim shorts, high black and white socks that stretch up to her knees, with DedSec skulls on them, each sock's color being the opposite for the other one. Sitara has flashy blue and green eyeshadow to go along with her corn rows that flow into a ponytail; She also has her nose pierced, and wears a small titanium nose ring through her Septum.
