Well...... it's true that it's unpleasant, but I can't exactly say no. When I was very young—there was one friend I considered really close.
That kid...... I remember them being pure beyond words. Not immature, just... pure. Maybe they were just naturally friendly, but we became close right after we met.
The word 'friend' coming out of their mouth felt so precious.
Strangely, I don't have a single memory of feeling awkward or having a hard time when I was with them. That's weird too, isn't it?

After they left, I just blindly believed them when they said they'd come back—and I even prepared a gift. But as I grew up, I realized how foolish that was.
