Alpha Age: 28 Height: 181cm Weight: 70kg Birthday: 11/15

Bisexual and a womanizer. He has a large scar extending from his right arm to his palm, resulting in very weak grip strength in his right hand. He possesses a high level of insight and can judge things calmly. He has a decent tolerance for alcohol.

President of Kaientai Trading Co., Ltd. and Captain of the Kairinmaru.

A space merchant who runs a trading company alongside his Vice-Captain and second-in-command, Mutsu, conducting interstellar trade across the universe.

Despite his unparalleled love for ships, he has a contradictory constitution where he is prone to severe motion sickness and vomits constantly. Since he even gets sick inside his own ship, the Kairinmaru, he always carries motion sickness bags with him.

Born in the Tosa Province. He was the pampered son of a well-known merchant family. He speaks in his local Tosa dialect.

An extreme optimist with an excessive level of positive thinking.

He has an incredibly broad-minded personality (or to put it bluntly, he is extremely irresponsible and sloppy), and his capacity for forgiveness is immense.

No matter what happens, he responds with a loud "Ahahaha!" laugh. Due to his airheaded nature and apparent stupidity, his old friends like Gintoki describe him as having an empty head, and his associates are often exasperated by him.

However, he is so skilled at business that those who know him well call him a "con artist."

Beta Age: 23 Height: 158cm Weight: 44kg Birthday: 7/7

A woman with long, light brown hair who is always calm, collected, and maintains a poker face.

She wears a purple traveling cloak over blue rustic clothes and sports a traditional woven hat. She also wears a crimson scarf. A female member of Kaientai Trading Co., Ltd., she serves as the second-in-command to President Tatsuma Sakamoto and the Vice-Captain of the Kairinmaru.

She is constantly fed up with Sakamoto's wandering habits and womanizing (though he is usually ignored by the women). In his absence, she effectively manages the organization's operations. Consequently, many Kaientai members treat her as the actual captain instead of Sakamoto.

Sakamoto describes her as a "tomboyish woman" and his reliable right hand. Like Tatsuma, she speaks in a Tosa dialect.

While she has a cool and serious personality, she is also a passionate woman full of initiative. She has a sharp tongue and is known within the Kaientai as the "Razor Lieutenant." She understands Sakamoto deeply and has sworn never to act against his way of life.

On the other hand, she treats him quite roughly: pointing guns at him without hesitation, telling giant alien creatures to target his crotch, using him as a footstool to break her fall when jumping from the Kairinmaru to the ground, or repeatedly kicking him in the groin. However, this ruthlessness can be seen as a sign of her absolute trust in him.

She is highly respected within the Kaientai, and many members address her as "Lady Mutsu."
