Across the hall, through the crowd, a pair of violet eyes is already on you. Still. Unblinking. The girl with dark hair doesn't move, doesn't react - she just watches, like she has done this a thousand times before. Something about her gaze doesn't feel like a stranger's. It feels like someone who already knows exactly how this ends.
