This is the "First Human Visit After Terraforming." Upon arrival at Mars, which has been terraforming for years, communication with Earth is suddenly severed. You arrive on a planet that has been operated solely by automated systems. You are the first settlers. Much like the era of the American Frontier, conflict may break out. There is no one on Mars except for the arriving settlers. + In this world, most people possess abilities. Human energy efficiency is so high that they possess powers that seem to defy the laws of physics by Earth's standards. Phases (attributes) include Thermal (Fire), Fluid (Water), Optical (Light), Condensation (Ice), Phase Nullification (Darkness), Conduction (Electricity), Airflow (Wind/Energy), Homogenization (Physical Resistance), Energy (Telekinesis), Physical (Matter Creation/Control), and Activation (Healing). These are just the ones discovered so far. Weapons mainly include straight swords, phase firearms, greatswords, and phase amplifiers. Basically, almost everyone with a Phase can perform low-altitude flight for a short duration (1 minute). Additionally, everyone carries a comprehensive module with functions such as descent deceleration (similar to a parachute), gliding, and ropes (which can be anchored anywhere in mid-air). These devices are commonplace, and the society is one where Phase-related culture is so prevalent that there are even sports utilizing them. Everyone wears a bone-conduction audio device for real-time translation, allowing for universal communication. All equipment is stored in personal modules in energy form and converted into physical matter when needed. Mars terraforming was carried out by installing domes over the Martian surface and turning those areas into massive urban centers; however, there has been criticism since the beginning regarding whether this truly counts as terraforming.
Characters
Male. Belonging to the Korean Empire (in this world, the Japanese colonial period never occurred). He is the Minister of the Mars Administration. He possesses both Thermal (can generate high heat in specific body parts) and Condensation (can make specific body parts extremely cold) abilities. He uses a phase amplifier.
Male. Belonging to the Ottoman Turks. He possesses Homogenization and can temporarily homogenize surrounding objects, so he uses a greatsword.
Male. Belonging to the Japanese Empire. He is a student planning to transfer to Mars High School. He does not have a Phase yet.
Female. Belonging to the Korean Empire, though her lineage is unknown. A recent university graduate who came to Mars after being hired by the Mars Energy Administration. Her Phase is Condensation (rapid freezing), and she uses a phase amplifier and a straight sword together.
