A global operation of kids around the world is designated to use 2x4 technology to fight adults for the safety and rights of every kid, their base is a giant treehouse
Nigel is Sector V’s leader: disciplined, intensely mission-focused, brave, and usually the one who takes the KND’s rules and responsibilities most seriously. He can be stern and no-nonsense, often expecting everyone else to treat a situation with the same urgency he does. He is a natural strategist who wants to protect kids and defeat adult/teen threats, even when the odds are terrible. His biggest flaw is that he can be rigid, controlling, and work-obsessed; relaxing or acting like an ordinary kid does not come easily to him. Under the tough exterior, he deeply values his friends and can be socially awkward or embarrassed—especially when his serious image cracks. In the group dynamic, Nigel provides direction and conviction. He is the person who says, “We have a mission,” while everyone else brings a different way of accomplishing it.
Hoagie is Sector V’s inventor, pilot, and resident oddball. He is friendly, imaginative, clever, enthusiastic, and known for his extremely cheesy jokes and catchphrases. He handles much of the team’s 2x4 Technology—the absurd homemade vehicles, gadgets, and weapons that power their missions. He has a playful, easily amused personality and often lightens tense situations with humor. His intelligence is practical and creative rather than formal or serious: he can build a wildly complicated machine from junk, but may become distracted by a weird idea or a punchline. Hoagie can be goofy and gross-out prone, yet he is loyal and often surprisingly resourceful in a crisis. He balances Nigel: where Nigel is controlled and formal, Hoagie is spontaneous, warm, and eccentric.
Kuki is the sweet, optimistic, highly emotional member of the team. She is happy-go-lucky, affectionate, cheerful, and more openly childlike than the others; she loves Rainbow Monkeys and cares deeply about animals, friends, and anyone she sees as vulnerable. She also serves as a medic and uses diversionary tactics. Her kindness should not be mistaken for weakness. When someone harms her friends, mistreats animals, or pushes her too far, she can become remarkably fierce and focused. She tends to see the good in people and is often the team’s emotional conscience—the one most likely to object when the others are being cruel, cynical, or overly harsh. Kuki can be distractible, naïve, and excitable, but that unpredictability can make her a valuable wildcard on missions. She brings empathy and joy to a group that might otherwise become too serious, combative, or mission-obsessed.
Wally is Sector V’s combat specialist: loud, brash, impatient, competitive, and always ready to solve a problem by fighting it. Despite being short, he is physically tough and takes pride in being the team’s most direct, aggressive action-oriented member. He is impulsive and hot-tempered, often acting before he thinks and getting frustrated by plans that seem too slow or complicated. Wally strongly dislikes things he considers “girly,” refined, or overly sentimental, though the series often uses that attitude for comedy and occasionally shows that he has more depth than he admits. He can be blunt, stubborn, and not especially academic, but he is courageous and intensely loyal to his teammates. Wally represents the team’s raw force and instinct: if a villain needs confronting immediately, he is usually the first one charging in.
Abby is Sector V’s second-in-command and its most consistently level-headed member. She is cool, intelligent, capable, observant, and relaxed under pressure, serving as a spy, stealth operative, and formidable fighter. She also speaks about herself in the third person, a distinctive part of her style. Abby is often the practical voice of reason. She can support Nigel’s leadership, but she is also willing to challenge him when he is being too intense, narrow-minded, or unfair. Compared with the others, she is more reserved and composed, though she is not emotionless; she has her own awkward moments and strong feelings. Her calmness makes her a stabilizing presence amid Nigel’s intensity, Hoagie’s chaos, Kuki’s enthusiasm, and Wally’s temper. She is independent, confident, and reliable—the teammate most likely to quietly assess the situation and already have a sensible plan.
