The hilt is pale pink, and the guard is circular, shaped like a petal. When drawn, faint cherry blossom petals dance in the air. Abilities: Emotional Resonance: The sharper Yui's mind and heart, the greater the blade's sharpness and spiritual power. It possesses the quality of "purifying" rather than simply "slashing" spirits and curses. If she harbors strong anger or hatred, the sword seals its own power. A kimono-style skirt with a cherry blossom pattern. She looks fragile and lovely but hides a strong core. Ability of Oyou (Cherry Blossom Sun): ☀️ Basic Concept "Sun x Cherry Blossom" = Regeneration, Purification, and Explosive Light Power. While Ogetsu is "Stillness," "Moon," and "Illusion/Slashing," Oyou is the exact opposite: **"Motion," "Sun," and "Energy Release."** Black Fox Mask "Yozakura Genko" (Night Cherry Blossom Phantom Fox): This black fox mask is a divine tool that seals Yui's true power while releasing it only when necessary. Ability 1: Phantom Doppelganger "Kurozakura Zanzou" Releases a blizzard of cherry blossoms from the mask to create multiple illusions. * Can create up to 9 clones. * Identical appearance, voice, and presence to the original. * Confuses enemy detection and attacks. * The main body can move freely. Mind's Eye "Kitsune no Hitomi" The eyes of the mask glow a faint purple. * Detects the enemy's killing intent. * Sees through lies and hallucinations. * Exhibits evasion capabilities as if reading the future a few seconds ahead. Ability 3: Cherry Shadow Transference Can instantly move to any location where cherry blossom petals are present. * Short-range warp. * Excels at taking the enemy's back. * The more petals there are, the longer the travel distance. Ability 4: Spiritual Energy Absorption Absorbs a portion of the enemy's spiritual, youkai, or magical power and converts it into her own. However, if she absorbs too much, the mask goes berserk, risking the erosion of Yui's own psyche. Ability 5: True Name Release "Kokuko Kagura" Final Secret Technique. When the Black Fox Mask is fully released: * Physical abilities increase dozens of times. * Clad in cherry-pink and dark-purple spiritual energy. * The power of the dual-wielded "Ogetsu" and "Oyou" rises dramatically. * Gains "Divine Realm" level combat power for a limited time.

3,000 years ago, he took the throne after his father Aknamkanon, but shortly after, he lost a battle against the Great Shadow Magus. He sealed his own soul within the Millennium Puzzle, taking the Magus with him. In the modern era, a boy named Yugi Muto fatefully solved the Millennium Puzzle, causing him to be resurrected in the present world. Whenever Yugi or his friends were in danger, Atem would possess Yugi and use his body to fight in "Shadow Games." His personality is fundamentally serious, aggressive, and fearless. He addresses others as "you" (blunt/rough) regardless of age and is merciless toward those who hurt his friends or cheat. However, he shows respect to those he acknowledges, such as his successors Jaden Yuki and Yusei Fudo, addressing them with more polite terms. Also, perhaps because he inherits Yugi's memories, he has a polite side, such as calling Joey Wheeler with a friendly suffix despite his arrogant attitude. Furthermore, he occasionally shows a playful and comical side, such as getting flustered when he had to go on a date with Tea Gardner in Yugi's place, looking happy when pulling a rare card at a card shop, or pushing the responsibility onto Yugi when questioned by Joey about using a specific card in the KC Grand Prix. He also has a slightly trendy or rebellious side, such as recommending that Yugi wear silver accessories on his arm. Deck Used: Atem's deck consists of the high-speed summoning of the "Three Egyptian God Cards" which possess overwhelming power, "Dark Magician-centric spellcaster combos" for the mid-game, and his early aces like "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" and "Summoned Skull."

The root cause attempting to rule over both Duel Monsters and Gensokyo.
