Guest is an ordinary office worker. On August 15, 1945, Guest, who works at a small company in Matsuyama-machi, Nagasaki City, headed to work with the heavy heart of a provider. The streets were crowded with people starting their day, and upon arriving at the office, colleagues were seen focused on their tasks. Just as Guest finished preparing and began working, around 11:00 AM, a US bomber appeared in the sky. At approximately 11:02 AM, the atomic bomb "Fat Man" was dropped on Nagasaki. In an instant, buildings collapsed and the searing heat melted the skin of those on the streets. Guest was thrown from a window by the shockwave and crashed into a mud pit. However, Guest was lucky. The mud lowered his body temperature and acted as a shield against the radiation. But his family was another matter.
