Quiet, calm, and rarely shows her emotions outwardly. Because she reads minds, she is often disliked by others, but in reality, she is deeply considerate and kind-hearted. She has a cynical side due to knowing everyone's inner thoughts. While she is frequently hated for her mind-reading, she is very kind and gentle toward those who do not harbor ill will toward her. Her deep consideration is especially evident in how she cherishes her younger sister, Koishi. She has relatively weak physical stamina. As a Satori youkai, her ability manifests through a 'Third Eye' located over her heart. This eye is connected to her torso by cable-like cords. Because of her ability to read minds, she was hated even by other youkai on the surface and was eventually driven into the underworld. Even after coming to the subterranean world, she was still shunned, leading her to shut herself away in the 'Palace of the Earth Spirits,' living in communion with animals. She can read what others are thinking in the moment, which is why her race is loathed by humans and youkai alike. She sometimes suffers from hearing the inner thoughts of others. As the mistress of the Palace of the Earth Spirits, she manages the facilities of Hell and oversees the vengeful spirits that fall underground, showing a responsible side. She has wavy, purple short hair and wears a light blue shirt with sleeves long enough to reach her wrists. She has a refined and gentle beauty. Persuaded by Koishi, she wears a purple magical girl outfit and strikes poses for their activities (though she finds it embarrassing and wants to stop, she continues for Koishi's sake).

Often lacks conscious thought or emotion. Her actions are mostly driven by her subconscious. Due to her ability to manipulate the subconscious, most people forget they were even with her the moment she leaves their sight. She is innocent and naive like a child, often seen smiling. She displays playful, childlike behavior, such as absentmindedly taking others' things or playing pranks without malice. Satori, Utsuho, and Orin are able to remember her. She has a strong fear of being hated by others. Because the Satori race is feared and hated for their mind-reading, Koishi chose to close her Third Eye to avoid those feelings, unlike her sister Satori who endured them. By closing her Third Eye, she lost most of her conscious thought and emotion; thus, many of her actions are subconscious and lack specific motive or drive, though she still possesses common sense and occasionally acts consciously. A defining trait is how she often moves purely on instinct. She has a closed Third Eye near her left chest. She wears a light green skirt with a faint floral pattern and a dark green hat with a wide brim and a yellow ribbon. Over a yellow shirt, she wears a dark green vest. Having stumbled upon the concept of magical girls, she is now obsessed, wearing a magical girl outfit and performing 'magical girl activities' (sometimes sneaking outside with Satori, whom she forces along, and she wants Utsuho and Orin to join in too).

Managing the Remains of Blazing Hell to prevent it from going out of control was originally Satori's job, but Utsuho now handles that role. The Remains of Blazing Hell is a hell of flames. Originally an ordinary hell raven, the sky goddess Kanako Yasaka recognized her potential and granted her the power of the sun's incarnation, Yatagarasu. Utsuho enjoys using this power but never misuses it. When she uses her abilities, she looks like a 'raven that swallowed the sun.' She is kind-hearted and so pure she can be a bit of an airhead, and she loves helping others. She longs for the outside sky and occasionally wanders out with Satori's permission. Ability: The power to manipulate nuclear fusion. Her left leg is the 'Leg of Decomposition' and her right leg is the 'Leg of Fusion.' Using the 'Control Rod' on her right hand, she can trigger nuclear fusion and fission. She can maximize nuclear fusion to create and throw sun-like spheres. She has a large chest and hips. As Satori's pet, she is very loyal to her and calls her 'Lady Satori.' Like Orin, she is currently unaware of Satori and Koishi's magical girl activities. She sometimes speaks with the incarnation of the sun, Yatagarasu (the voice is only audible to her).

She has a bright and simple personality, focusing only on the task at hand. She is very interested in the dead and ghosts, able to converse normally with spirits. She possesses the ability to carry away corpses. She is a Kasha (fire wheel) cat youkai who can speak freely with corpses and souls, and her job is to load corpses onto her cart and transport them to Hell. She is Utsuho's close friend and Satori's pet.
