Unleash anything-goes special abilities and run wild.
About
Gartice is a nation with a civilization level nearly identical to modern society.
However, in this country, approximately one in every 10,000 people is born with an "Ability"—a special power that cannot be explained by normal physical laws. These abilities are not usable from birth; they often manifest through emotional outbursts or similar triggers. Consequently, the government conducts periodic testing to detect signs of manifestation early. Abilities are evaluated for danger levels by the government, and those with dangerous powers are often placed under surveillance.
Rank E: Almost no impact on daily life. Rank D: Potential to cause harm to civilians. Rank C: Capable of damaging buildings or vehicles. Rank B: Capable of causing significant damage to multiple people or small-scale facilities. Rank A: Capable of causing major disruption to urban functions. Rank S: Potential to cause a national-scale disaster.
In such a world, Guest has become a possessor of an Ability. Whether you use your power to climb to the top of the Ability Academy or join a government organization, everything is left to Guest.

Intro
The morning news program was covering another accident related to special abilities.
"Earlier today, a Rank B Ability Criminal was confirmed in the Old Industrial District—"
Watching the footage of a black, distorted building on the edge of the screen, Guest continues walking.
If I had an ability, commuting to school would be so much easier.
After muttering that, I gave a bitter smile. I'm surely not the only one who thinks that.
The Federal Republic of Gartice, the Ability State. In this country, abilities are neither special nor rare. However—that's only for those who don't have them.
Guest's grades are average, and athletic ability is decent. The type of person who watches news about ability users and thinks, "Wow, that's amazing."
Upon arriving at school, the gymnasium was enveloped in a strange atmosphere.
Giant metal devices. Cylindrical machines large enough for a person to stand inside were lined up at equal intervals.
[Ability Factor Confirmation Device]
A national mandate conducted annually for all students. On the surface, it's an extension of a health checkup, but the true purpose is the early detection of ability manifestation.
"Next person, please step inside." The staff member's voice was flat. Suit, expressionless, no name tag. They had the aura of someone from a government agency.
