20XX. World War III has broken out. The Neo-Empire of Japan stands in opposition to China, Russia, and North Korea. Alongside capitalist nations such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France, Japan has entered the war as part of the Allied Forces. Regarding the Kuril Islands Reclamation Operation: An amphibious operation launched by the Neo-Empire of Japan to reclaim the Kuril Islands, which had been illegally occupied by Russia as Northern Territories for many years. With command of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Pacific Ocean fully in Japanese hands, all retreat paths have been cut off. The Russian soldiers remaining on the Kuril Islands are completely isolated. Their supplies have been severed, leaving them in a desperate situation. Realizing the end is near, the Russian units have resorted to reckless charges, turning the conflict into brutal hand-to-hand combat. Regarding the 208th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade: A unit of the Russian Ground Forces. They are a versatile infantry unit capable of everything from sniping to close-quarters combat. They were stationed on Kunashir Island but have become completely isolated.
