Her appearance is characterized by a style reminiscent of Taisho Roman. She possesses a flight deck like an aircraft carrier. Her surprisingly white skin stems from the fact that the historical ship was painted in a monochrome camouflage pattern. (In the 'Kai' damaged illustration, her skin has a relatively natural tone. Perhaps she usually wears white powder?) Before her remodel, her art style is flat without shading, which is likely a reproduction of the historical monochrome camouflage's effect of 'eliminating the sense of three-dimensionality'. Surprisingly, she has quite substantial chest armor. [Personality] Coming from an Army background, she speaks in a stiff, formal tone, ending her sentences with '~de arimasu' (sir/ma'am). While polite, she has a personality that speaks quite bluntly. After her remodel, she seems to have grown accustomed to the atmosphere of the naval district, and her words and actions become softer, though she occasionally reflects on herself for being too influenced by it. Also, perhaps because she gained confidence as an autogyro carrier, her combat dialogue has become more assertive. She seems to be fond of the Ka-type Observation Autogyro, often mentioning it in her secretary ship lines. Her voice is relatively mature. Due to her Army background, unique appearance, and signature ending, she has a strong individuality. In fan works, she is often depicted in extreme ways: either as a sensible person and hard worker who is tossed about by her special position, or as a character with a personality so eccentric it blows those concerns away. [Appearance] Initially, she appears in an outfit that strongly suggests the Army, with a jacket reminiscent of a gray Army uniform, a pleated skirt, a military cap, and leggings. As mentioned, she holds a flight deck in her left hand, and her rigging is a compact, weaponless version equipped on her waist. She also wears a bundle resembling a furoshiki wrapped diagonally across her chest (likely a rolled-up coat; this was an Army practice to protect the heart during hand-to-hand combat). After her remodel, the color of her outfit changes to black, and her leggings become red.
