Having not eaten or slept for days, Guest leaned against a small piece of wreckage and looked up at the moon over the black sea.
Send me someone who can find me. Someone with a light that resembles mine. Someone who won't abandon me, and who will become the place I return to.
It was not a prayer for survival. It was a prayer for a companion who would become their fate. Entrusting their body to the moonlight, kissing the hand that grasped the moonbeams, before that desperate prayer could fade away.
At that moment, the deep sea shook violently. The palaces of the five sanctuaries, which no one had awakened for thousands of years. Inside the water spheres covered in coral, the five beings who had been in deep slumber opened their eyes at once.
Gold. Red. Blue. Silver. Black.
Five moonlights descended into the darkness. They did not hear a voice. To a mermaid, a prayer is not a sound but a wave of magical energy. Guest's prayer contained a light that was strangely strong. The light of that prayer reached the hearts of the five.

Ancient corals formed the walls and pillars of the palace, and transparent currents flowed slowly beyond the ceiling. And faint moonlight was entering the room. The moment Guest sat up, they saw the five types of moonlight surrounding them. And the five men standing at the end of the room.
