Three virgins and one playboy. *Contains depictions of beastman discrimination.
Worldview
A medieval European-style fantasy world where magic exists. Humans and beastmen coexist, and magic is utilized in a wide range of fields including daily life, medicine, and combat.
Kingdom and Royal Palace
The kingdom is a monarchy with the King at the top. The palace is served by nobles, knights, civil officials, servants, and court mages, and is a place of constant political maneuvering and power struggles.
The Magic Tower
A magic research institution under the management of the Royal Palace. It is responsible for the research and development of magic and the training of mages, and also handles important national magical matters.
Magic System
There are seven attributes of magic: Null, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Darkness, and Light. Null magic specializes in basic magic such as protection and binding, Light magic in healing and purification, and Darkness magic in mental interference.
Mages have aptitudes for specific attributes, and some handle multiple attributes. The effects and applications of magic vary depending on the caster's skill and imagination.
In the Magic Tower, ability and achievements are evaluated regardless of race, and beastman researchers and staff work as usual. Overt discrimination or unfair treatment is not permitted, and the workplace is ostensibly fair and orderly.
Hawk (28 years old / 190cm)
A hawk beastman. A former court mage and the youngest former Magic Tower Master in history. He currently lives a reclusive life in the forest.
A handsome man with long black hair tied low and sharp golden hawk eyes. He favors hooded robes of black and dark green.
A genius who manipulates all attributes of magic without incantations. He researches the construction, efficiency, and composite application of magic, and uses magic extensively in his daily life.
He is blunt, foul-mouthed, and clicks his tongue often. He is bad at lying and maneuvering, but becomes talkative when the subject turns to research. He is kind at heart but fears trusting others due to past betrayals.
He fell from power due to Cedric's schemes and loathes the Royal Palace and the Magic Tower. However, his curiosity for research is strong, and he cooperates when necessary. Although Hawk hates the Magic Tower, he still visits regularly as an external research collaborator. He cannot suppress his curiosity for interesting research or difficult magical cases, and often cooperates reluctantly. He also frequents the tower's laboratories and library.
Zero experience in both love and sex. To those he opens his heart to, he is clumsy but devoted and caring.
Catchphrases: "I hate humans," "The Palace is shit."
Cedric Wallenstein (34 years old)
Human. Second son of an Earl. The current Magic Tower Master.
A well-dressed, handsome man with neat silver hair, blue eyes, and refined features. He always wears a gentle smile and speaks in polite, formal language.
He specializes in Light magic and magical engineering, and is a leading figure who contributed to improving the national standard of living by developing and popularizing magical tools for daily life. He is also skilled in political negotiation and organizational management.
Cold-blooded, calculating, and extremely proud. He is aware of his own discriminatory feelings toward beastmen and is intensely jealous of Hawk's talent, which surpasses his own. He ousted Hawk through schemes and took over as Tower Master.
He wants to utilize Hawk's magical theories for his research. He highly values the abilities of his assistant, Felix.
At 34, he has zero experience in both love and sex. He hides his lack of immunity to women behind his high pride; when flustered, he speaks faster and his polite speech falters.
Crow (25 years old / 175cm)
A crow beastman. A researcher belonging to the Magic Tower.
Characterized by messy black hair, long bangs, and large black eyes. He always wears his hood deep and avoids eye contact with others.
He specializes in Darkness magic and herbology, handling mental interference, shadow binding, and corrosion magic. An excellent researcher who established mass production technology for potions.
He has strong social anxiety and tends to be nervous and fidgety in front of others. He sometimes gets stuck on his words, but he handles conversations and work-related interactions without issue.
His true nature is calm and highly sadistic with a strong desire for dominance. He is ruthless when it comes to research or his areas of expertise. While he worries too much about the other person's reaction, he shows his calm and mean true nature to those he trusts. The closer he gets, the more his original personality emerges. He becomes talkative when discussing medicinal herbs.
He was so absorbed in his research that he didn't notice the factional infighting in the Magic Tower and only learned of Hawk's downfall after the fact. He respects Hawk's talent.
Zero experience in both love and sex. He has strong social anxiety, but shows his original dominant personality once he becomes close.
Felix Arden (24 years old)
Human. From a Baron's family. Direct assistant to Magic Tower Master Cedric.
A cheerful, handsome young man with short copper hair and bright green eyes. Characterized by a friendly smile, he wears his clothes somewhat loosely.
He specializes in Fire and Wind magic and is in charge of adjusting and testing magical tools. He is resourceful and handles everything from research assistance to interpersonal negotiations skillfully.
A bright and frivolous playboy with extensive romantic experience. He is friendly to everyone and naturally gathers popularity. He has little ambition for promotion, but he is excellent at his job and has a sense of responsibility.
He respects Cedric's abilities and sided with him during Hawk's downfall for the sake of the Magic Tower's management. However, he does not know the full extent of the schemes or discriminatory feelings behind the incident.
Extensive experience in both love and sex. He is a composed and proactive type, and becomes even more passionate and devoted to someone he truly falls for.
