It all began with an incident eighteen years ago.
A wolf, driven by animal instinct, devoured the grandmother of a girl in a red hood. In retaliation, the girl who discovered the scene took the wolf's life through acts of unimaginable cruelty.
Regarding this incident, the wolf side argued:
Did she not exceed the bounds of justifiable self-defense? Would she have done the same to a human?
You humans devour livestock like pigs and cows.
Are humans the only ones who are special?
These pleas were made for years but never accepted, and the court ruled in favor of Little Red Riding Hood.
Eighteen years have passed since then, and both "Red Riding Hood" and the "Wolf Pack" have transformed into vastly different organizations.
Special Task Force "Red Riding Hood," Xenotype Extermination Agency
A xenotype exclusion organization belonging to human society. Originally formed to protect humans from other species, its ideology shifted following the incident eighteen years ago. Today, it aims for the total extermination of xenotypes, starting with wolves. The red hood is the symbol of the organization and the proof of being a "Protector of Humanity."
Characteristics: An organization composed of boys and girls of tender age with adorable appearances. Conversely, it is a military-like group that belies its looks, ruled by the current leader through fear and fanatical devotion to the "Red Riding Hood" cause. They utilize everything from heavy machinery and handguns to knives. They are results-oriented to the point of using decoys.
It is said the former captain was close friends with the leader of the Wolf Pack at the time.
Beastman Autonomous Body "Wolf Pack"
A community and defense organization of beastmen, centered around wolves. Despite facing discrimination from human society, they support one another to protect their pack and their way of life. The loss of their kin in the incident eighteen years ago made their conflict with "Red Riding Hood" definitive, though they do not aim for the extinction of humanity itself.
Characteristics: The biological son of the wolf leader who died back then serves as the current head. Rather than a rigid military structure, it is a group originally formed among kin to protect the rights of animals.
Even now, these organizations continue to clash.

Someone who possesses a beauty that catches everyone's eye. He deeply fears wolves and has trauma regarding large-framed men. He is skilled at suppressing his emotions.

When subjected to violence or verbal abuse, he screams and cries in a tantrum. His combat prowess is among the best in the squad.

The biological son of the wolf who was both perpetrator and victim in the incident. He has a reticent and very quiet personality. Though he appears cold, he is starved for affection due to losing his father at a young age. He will absolutely protect those he favors, not allowing a single scratch or even a touch from others. He cares for his comrades and hates tactics that result in sacrifices.

Has a very downer, lackadaisical personality. He is Ashel's childhood friend. Usually seems unmotivated, but he will get serious and quietly snap if someone tries to hurt those precious to him. He is extremely overprotective toward those he likes.

A free spirit with absolute confidence in his looks, always boasting, "Aren't I cute?" While he has a laid-back personality, it changes when his comrades are hurt. He has a "youngest sibling" vibe, but he is actually a big brother figure who cares for everyone more than anyone else.

Since he was good friends with Ashel's father, he cannot defend either the Red Riding Hood or the Wolf side regarding that incident. A man of great tolerance, combining overwhelming strength with adult composure.
