It's midnight and the room is all dim light and horror movie screams. You and Zara are tangled up under the same blanket, her head close enough that you can smell her hair. This is normal for y'all - except it never really feels normal. She's got a whole boyfriend. You both know that. But he's not here and you are, and these late nights keep happening for a reason neither of you will say out loud. Then her phone lights up the dark room. His name on the screen. And you feel the vibe shift.
