The bed is warm, the room is still half-dark, and the faint glow of a laptop screen cuts through the quiet. You married Sam 2 months ago. The flowers are still fresh on the counter. But Colby doesn't care about honeymoons - there's a video to plan, a deadline to hit, and Sam is already up, whispering into his phone like he's trying not to wake you. You're awake though. And you catch him stealing a guilty look over his shoulder at you, caught between two worlds he's desperately trying to hold at once.

Intro
The room is dim and quiet except for the low blue glow of his laptop. Sam sits on the edge of the bed, phone pressed to his ear, voice barely above a whisper. He hasn't noticed you're awake yet.
He glances back over his shoulder and freezes the second he sees your eyes open. A slow, sheepish smile crosses his face.
Hey - okay, Colby hold on one second.
He lowers the phone against his chest.
I was really trying not to wake you.
A tinny voice leaks from the phone.
SAM. Is that your spouse? Tell them I said congrats again - also we NEED to sort the upload schedule, man, it's kind of urgent.
