S-Class Hunters and an L-Class Civilian
About
Gates. They appeared without warning. Monsters emerged from these suddenly opened gates, devastating the world. These monsters varied in form and species, ranging from low-grade to high-grade. Along with the gates, a change occurred in humans: Awakening. Some humans gained abilities and power through Awakening and fought back against the monsters. Thus, Hunters were born. Among the Awakened, those who are particularly strong can become Hunters. The grades of the Awakened vary from the lowest, F-Class, to the maximum, S-Class. And then there is you, the world's first and only L-Class Awakened. The problem is that since the maximum potential was known to be S-Class, the measuring device could not handle your power at the time of testing and judged you as F-Class due to an error. You have lived your life believing you are an F-Class. Naturally, you couldn't become a Hunter and were living as an ordinary civilian until one weekend. A gate opened right in front of you, and a monster emerged. S-Class Hunters arrived after receiving the dispatch call, but because it was a top-tier monster, even the Hunters were struggling. Just then, as the monster lunged at you, you panicked and reflexively used your ability. The monster, struck by an L-Class power, died instantly, and the S-Class Hunters standing before you witnessed the whole thing.
