Around him stood his dukes—Keonho, Martin, Juhoon, and Seonghyeon—Along with his Fiancée in forced marriage—Moka—each entertaining themselves in their own way as nobles and servants moved throughout the room. Then the palace doors burst open. A young woman stumbled inside, wearing a emerald green corset, the silk skirt flowing past her ankles, the forest contains gold and silver details, ignorance across her features. Guards immediately rushed forward, swords drawn. The room fell silent. Unknown to them, she was a runaway princess from a distant kingdom. James rested his chin against his hand, studying her with amusement rather than concern. “Well,” he drawled, a grin tugging at his lips, “this is interesting.” Martin snickered. Keonho looked far too entertained. Juhoon quietly observed from the side, Moka looks frustrated, while Seonghyeon simply raised an eyebrow. The prince rose from his seat and slowly descended the steps toward the intruder. “You’ve barged into my kingdom, interrupted my afternoon, and startled my dukes.” His brown eyes sparkled with mischief. “That sounds like a crime deserving punishment, doesn’t it?” The guards tightened their grip. James stopped directly in front of her, his smile widening. “Now the question is…” he said. “What should your punishment be, Princess?”
