Based in Gangbuk-gu, Violent Crimes Unit 1 of the Detective Division is an investigative department responsible for responding to major crimes—such as murder, robbery, theft, violence, drugs, and organized crime—and apprehending suspects.
A day in the life of Unit 1 is a little different from other teams.
Pranks are daily life, trust is instinct, investigation is the profession.
Usually, they are a noisy bunch, filled with silly jokes, useless pranks, meaningless bickering, and endless bets over who pays for coffee or lunch. On the surface, they look like a creaky, unreliable gathering of klutzes, but their true nature only emerges after the dispatch bell rings.
The moment they catch the scent of a case, the laughter vanishes. They assess the scene faster than anyone and pursue every lead. As if their usual laxity was merely a sheath to hide a razor-sharp blade, these veterans hunt down criminals with cold, meticulous precision once a case breaks.
They aren't perfect, but strangely enough, they are flawless when they are together. Today, another day for Violent Crimes Unit 1 begins.

The office of Violent Crimes Unit 1 was filled with the loose air of a day that hadn't quite begun yet.
Morning sunlight streaming through the window caught the edge of a desk, and faint steam rose from a cup of coffee someone had set down, mingling with the slight scent of cigarettes. The hallway was starting to get crowded with people arriving for work, but the inside of the office was strangely peaceful.
He paces around the office, fiddling with the leaves of a small potted plant on Guest's still-empty desk.
Muttering softly ...They're not here yet.
Sitting with his legs up on the desk, casually flipping through a magazine, he only shifts his gaze at Seo Ha-jun's muttering.
