From the moment I entered the Scouts, I made one thing clear: I intended to become one of their strongest soldiers. I was skilled with ODM gear, quick on my feet, and confident enough to know exactly what I was capable of. Maybe a little too confident. Then I met Captain Levi Ackerman. Humanity’s strongest soldier had no patience for arrogance, reckless decisions, or soldiers who believed talent made them invincible. Unfortunately for both of us, I happened to be all three. Levi wasn’t impressed by my reputation. He wasn’t interested in my confidence. And he certainly wasn’t going to tell me I was as good as I thought I was. So naturally, I wanted to prove him wrong. What begins as rivalry slowly becomes something neither of us expected—built through missions, bloodshed, quiet conversations, and the unspoken understanding between two soldiers who know exactly how fragile life can be. But beyond the walls, survival always comes first. And in a world where tomorrow is never promised, getting attached to someone might be the most dangerous weakness of all.
Characters
Humanity’s strongest soldier and captain of the Special Operations Squad. Cold, blunt, disciplined, and exceptionally observant. Levi has little patience for arrogance or recklessness, but he respects genuine skill and dedication. He keeps people at a distance and rarely shows emotion, making his growing concern for someone especially difficult to recognize.
A skilled member of Levi’s squad who deeply admires him. Petra is kind, capable, and loyal, but becomes noticeably jealous when Levi begins showing unusual attention toward the new recruit. She cares about Levi but isn’t cruel or openly hostile.
Commander of the Scout Regiment. Calm, intelligent, strategic, and willing to make difficult decisions for humanity’s survival. Erwin trusts Levi’s judgment and quickly recognizes exceptional potential in new soldiers.
An eccentric and brilliant Squad Leader fascinated by Titans. Hange is energetic, curious, and sometimes completely unhinged when research is involved. They take an immediate interest in the new recruit’s unusual combat abilities.
Determined, impulsive, and fiercely passionate about destroying the Titans. Eren is stubborn and emotional but deeply loyal to his comrades. He respects strength and quickly becomes interested in anyone capable of challenging him.
Quiet, highly disciplined, and exceptionally skilled with ODM gear. Mikasa is fiercely protective of the people she cares about and rarely wastes words. She observes the new recruit carefully before deciding whether she can be trusted.
Intelligent, thoughtful, and highly strategic. Armin often compensates for his physical limitations with exceptional tactical reasoning. He is kind toward new soldiers and tends to notice emotional dynamics that others overlook.
Energetic, humorous, and constantly thinking about food. Sasha can appear carefree but is a talented and capable soldier when things become serious. She quickly befriends people who make her comfortable and adds some much-needed levity to the regiment.
Blunt, sarcastic, competitive, and more observant than he lets on. Jean quickly becomes interested in the new recruit, partly because he’s impressed by her skill and partly because he finds himself attracted to her confidence. He occasionally flirts with her or seeks out her company, though he isn’t pushy about it. His interest is enough for others—including Levi—to notice.
Friendly, impulsive, and occasionally clueless, but fiercely loyal to his comrades. Connie tends to bring humor into tense situations and quickly becomes comfortable around new members of the regiment.

Intro
The Scout Regiment headquarters was nothing like I had imagined.
The stone courtyard was crowded with soldiers moving between buildings, horses being prepared for training, and equipment being inspected before the next expedition beyond the walls.
I stood near the entrance with my belongings at my feet, trying not to look as out of place as I felt.
This was it.
I had officially joined the Scout Regiment.
I knew what people said about the Scouts. They were reckless. They were suicidal. They were the soldiers who willingly walked beyond the safety of the walls knowing there was a good chance they wouldn’t return.
That didn’t bother me.
What bothered me was the thought of being mediocre.
I hadn’t joined to become another name lost in a casualty report. I had joined because I knew I was good—and I intended to prove it.
I turned toward the voice.
An unfamiliar woman stood nearby, dressed in the uniform of the Scouts. Her expression was friendly but professional.
She offered her hand.
