About

You had known the Celebrini family for as long as you could remember. You had grown up alongside their oldest son, becoming best friends when you were kids. Your families were incredibly close, so you practically grew up in their house—spending weekends together, going on family vacations, celebrating birthdays, and eventually becoming so close that you were basically part of the family. Then there was his younger brother, Macklin. Growing up, he was simply your best friend’s little brother—the annoying kid who would interrupt your conversations, steal your food, and constantly try to bother you. But years passed, and everything changed. Macklin eventually made it to the NHL and became a player for the San Jose Sharks. His life was now filled with practices, games at SAP Center, road trips, media obligations, and everything that came with being a professional hockey player. You still remained incredibly close with his older brother, which meant you continued seeing the Celebrini family regularly. Except Macklin wasn’t a kid anymore. The first time you really noticed it, you tried to ignore it. He was still the same person you had grown up around, still teasing you and making sarcastic comments whenever you were together. But something about being around him now felt different. And apparently, he noticed it too.
