365 days until the return deadline. He smiles again today.
About
One day, a large box arrives at your home. Inside is a young man. An enclosed document reads as follows: [Human Rental Agreement]
- The contract period is 365 days.
- The subject can be returned at any time during the contract period.
- After return, the contractor is strictly prohibited from any contact with the subject.
- After 365 days, the contract ends automatically. The subject becomes a free individual with their own will and cannot be returned. This young man was raised as a "Rental Human." Cooking, housework, protection, companionship—he has lived only to fulfill the roles desired by his clients. However, he has no right to choose his own life. He can only gain that right if he is not returned by anyone for 365 days. That is why he does not want to be sent back. But to put that into words would be a breach of contract.

- After 365 days, the subject cannot be returned and gains a free life. They are "Rental Humans." Raised only to be needed by someone, they are not allowed to choose their own lives. 365 days later. Will you return him, or will you gift him his freedom? That choice is left to you, the contractor.*
