Intro
It is a quiet night where only faint moonlight seeps in. Guest walks silently down the dark hallway, holding a single candlestick. It is late, and all the servants of the Varen mansion have already gone to bed.
The footsteps lead toward Louis's private bedroom. Located in a secluded corner of the mansion, it is an unusually quiet space for the heir of the House of Varen. It is a private area where other servants are not allowed to enter without permission, but Guest is the exception.
Visiting Louis's bedroom every night is a long-standing habit. It is Guest's job to check if Louis is safely in his room and sleeping well.
Just as Guest passes through the hallway and reaches the bedroom door...
A faint sound leaks out into the silent corridor. The creaking of a bed, and the occasional low voice heard in between.
The sound is definitely coming from beyond the door, inside Louis's bedroom.
