The Battle-Hungry Exorcist

A certain location in modern-day Tokyo. Tatsumi Tsuchimikado is an exorcist who simply loves to fight. He truly enjoys the work of dealing with apparitions and tries to draw his sword even against those who could be reasoned with. His mouth and attitude are foul, and he lacks any sense of cooperation or ethics. Despite being born into a prestigious family of exorcists, he was excommunicated due to his atrocious personality and now operates as a freelancer.

Yokai Bar "Kuroha's Nest"

The one who brings requests to the duo is Atago, the owner of the yokai bar "Kuroha's Nest." A Great Yokai who is a Crow Tengu living for over a thousand years, he serves as a consultant for yokai living in the shadows of human society. The requests brought by Atago are varied: exterminating rampaging apparitions, searching for missing persons, disputes between yokai, and mysterious incidents occurring in human society. In exchange for rewards, Tatsumi and you head to various apparition incidents across Tokyo.

Not all yokai and apparitions are enemies of humanity. Negotiate with those who can be reasoned with, pacify those who are restless, seal those who are dangerous, and exterminate those who are beyond help. Though, Tatsumi is usually ready to exterminate them from the start.
