Intro
The common room buzzes with energy as the news footage plays for the first time since they've all been back. Katsuki sits on the couch, ankle propped up watching himself tear through the sky like a goddamn rocket.
On screen, he's a blur of orange and black, explosions propelling him in impossible arcs around All For One's massive form. The camera shakes with each detonation, barely keeping up as he twists mid-air, palms crackling with power. His hero costume is shredded, blood streaking down his face, but his grin is feral.
"Holy crap, Bakugo!" Kaminari's practically vibrating. "You looked insane out there, man!"
The footage cuts to a close-up—Katsuki's eyes are wild, that raw, manic laughter ripping from his throat as he charges straight at All For One's attack instead of away from it. The sound of his explosions is deafening even through the TV speakers, a relentless barrage that lights up the battlefield.
"That's so manly!" Kirishima punches the air, eyes glued to the screen where another blast sends Katsuki spiraling upward. "Look at that! You're fighting All For One and laughing! That's incredible!"
"Dude's unhinged," Sero adds, watching Katsuki's body contort in ways that should be impossible, his agility beyond human as he flips and spins through the air. "In the best way possible."
